From April 2014 to April 2016, we kept static-HTML newsletters for patrons. I am hoping to set these up online as a static archive with minimal modifications (as of January 2024). April 2016 was the last of those.
Software Contract
From April 2016 until early 2017, I worked on a software contract. For client confidentiality reasons, I’m not going to report about that here or identify the company, but it obviously impacted my available time.
Studio Library Construction
Started installing floor panels in the studio library. We’ve cleaned out the fire damage from 2013, and are laying down plywood tongue-and-groove (“T&G”) subfloor, which smooths out the rough floor of the cargo container. This is the first step of construction, since the wall framing will sit on these panels. I used the sledgehammer, with a small piece of grooved plywood to tap each panel into position, engaging with the previous panel. Since we have limited storage, I had to do this part of the job in stages, clearing the floor into the front of the unit, then moving everything back, after the panels are installed.
