This is just going to be a quick update, because I’m working on storyboard
animatics today, but we have just passed the halfway mark — in fact,
we’re at 52%. Of course, we only have about 30 hours to make the
other 48% if we’re going to make.
But consider this thought — if each of you found just one other person willing to put in as much as you
did, we’d be done. So a few shares through your friend networks online
or offline might be enough to do it.
I’m really excited about this, because we’re all set up to do the recording, and it will be a
terrific boost if we know we’re going to be able to proceed as planned.
It’ll also mean getting the animatic made, which is going to make it a
whole lot easier to find people to support final animation later this
year or early next.
At this point, I’m pretty sure we are going to record BOTH “No Children in Space” and “Earth”
— we’ve had a really positive response on the “Earth” script and we do have our Emerson now.
Paul Birchard turned in a very good audition for him, so he’ll be
playing Allen Emerson as well as Josh Farmer — I think you’ll find he’s
quite capable of doing them distinctly enough.
