Lex Quarterman first auditioned for Sergei, because he’s also fluent in
Russian, but after listening to his demos, we decided he would be
awesome as Tim Farmer (and actually Tim probably would speak Russian).
Tim, of course, is the teenage son of Anya Titova and Josh
Farmer, who feels dragged along against his will, although we think he
might just be enjoying the fame and attention just a little bit.
Lex Quarterman is a radio, television, and film actor who
was born in Portugal, raised in Ukraine, and now lives in Los Angeles. We
really didn’t expect to find somebody fluent in Russian to play Tim, so
the fact that Lex is opens some possibilities for future scripts. His
audition as Tim was amazing!

I could go on about things like “comic timing” and excellent “vocal
tone”, but I think instead I’ll just share a little bit of this preview
from the teaser of episode 3, “Cyborg”. I think you’ll understand our choice.
P.S.: There is no wind on the Moon.
